About Jari

Jari Osmala is an experienced international business leader, board professional, business angel and advisor with a career spanning industrial growth, internationalisation, strategy and operational leadership.

Jari served as President and CEO of Normet Group from 2003 to 2010 during a period of strong international growth. Before Normet, he held several leadership positions at Valtra, including responsibility for manufacturing, marketing and services.

His Valtra career also gave him direct international experience in Finland, Germany and Brazil. That background gives Jari a practical understanding of what internationalisation actually requires beyond market-entry plans: leadership, local operations, distribution, suppliers, organisational structures and management systems all need to develop as the business grows.

Since leaving operational CEO roles, Jari has spent more than a decade working as a board professional, business angel and senior advisor. He supports startups and established SMEs through board work and is also active in the Finnish Business Angels Network.
